Ask your database in plain English. Get PostgreSQL that knows your schema.

QueryPilot lives in Chrome’s side panel next to Supabase, Neon and pgAdmin. It writes SQL against your real tables, explains why a query is slow, and drops the result straight into your editor.

Bring your own Gemini, Claude or OpenAI key. Gemini’s free tier works out of the box.

Works inside Supabase SQL Editor Neon Console pgAdmin 4

Three things it does, all next to the editor you already have open.

Schema-aware text-to-SQL

Run one query in your console, paste the result, and QueryPilot learns your tables and columns. From then on every answer uses your real names, joins on your real keys, and adds a LIMIT to exploratory selects. Paste broken SQL instead of a question and it fixes it and tells you what was wrong.

Accepts JSON, CSV, psql output or CREATE TABLE DDL.

Users who signed up but never ordered

SELECT u.id, u.email, u.created_at
FROM users u
WHERE NOT EXISTS (
  SELECT 1 FROM orders o WHERE o.user_id = u.id
)
ORDER BY u.created_at DESC
LIMIT 100;

PRO

Paste the plan of a slow query. QueryPilot finds the expensive nodes, such as sequential scans over large tables, nested loops with big outer sides, sorts spilling to disk and bad row estimates, and gives you the exact CREATE INDEX CONCURRENTLY to run, plus a rewritten query when the SQL itself is the problem.

Seq Scan on orders: 799,882 rows removed by filter
CREATE INDEX CONCURRENTLY idx_orders_customer_status
  ON orders (customer_id, status);

Seq Scan becomes Index Scan on this filter.

Insert straight into your editor

Click Insert into editor and the SQL lands at your cursor in the Supabase, Neon or pgAdmin editor, as if you had typed it. Undo works as usual. On any other page it goes to your clipboard instead.

  1. 1Click into the query editor where you want the SQL.
  2. 2Generate or optimize a query in the side panel.
  3. 3Press Insert into editor. Review it, then run it.

Your keys and your schema stay in your browser. We don’t have a server to send them to.

QueryPilot is 100% client-side. Your API key, projects and schemas are stored in Chrome’s local extension storage on your computer.

When you generate a query, the request goes straight from your browser to the AI provider you picked. The only other call is checking your license key with Polar, our payment provider.

Questions

Do I need to pay for an AI provider?

No. You can create a Google Gemini key in Google AI Studio without billing enabled and use its free tier. If you prefer Claude or OpenAI, you pay them directly for what you use. QueryPilot never marks up or resells AI usage.

Does QueryPilot connect to my database?

No. It never connects to your database or runs queries. It only knows the table and column names you paste in, and it writes SQL for you to review and run yourself.

Where are my API key and schema stored?

Only in Chrome’s local extension storage on your computer. That storage is not encrypted, so anyone with access to your Chrome profile could read it; use an API key with a spending limit. Keys are sent only to the AI provider you choose, at the moment you make a request. Uninstalling the extension deletes them.

Which consoles does Insert into editor support?

The Supabase SQL Editor, the Neon Console SQL Editor and pgAdmin 4 running on localhost. The insertion script only loads on those editor pages, never on the rest of the dashboard. Everywhere else, the SQL is copied to your clipboard so you can paste it.

What does “lifetime” mean?

One payment unlocks PRO for as long as QueryPilot is offered, including future PRO features. There is no subscription and no renewal.

How do refunds work?

If PRO isn’t right for you, email us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. No questions asked. Details are in the refund policy.

Should I run generated SQL without reading it?

No. AI output can be wrong. Always read a query before running it, and be especially careful with UPDATE, DELETE and anything on production.
